Quick and Easy Law Forms

I should start by saying that using online legal documents are never a good replacement for a having a good lawyer on your payroll, but for something straight forward it will save you a bundle!   There are a few sites out there that can provide you with documentation for everything from changing your directors, shareholders agreements, lease agreements, marriage contracts, wills and powers of attorney among many other business related agreements.    You still may deem it necessary to pass it by a lawyer to make sure you didn’t miss anything depending on the complexity of the agreement.   For standard agreements such as changing directors, shareholders, leases, etc. you may find the cost and convenience too hard to ignore.   We’ve used lawdepot.ca and found it really convenient and the structure lets you walk through the documents and make your modifications and then save the document for future changes.   I know a couple of lawyers who have used this site for standard documents especially if they are looking for documents that are applicable to other provinces or on a different area of expertise.

Below is the link so you can take a look at the documents available for you and your business.
